OBA PLEDGES FULL SUPPORT TO HE UMO ENO

...the governorship candidate of YPP, Senator Obong Basset Albert pledges support to His Excellency governor Umo Bassey Eno. 

He made this known during his new year speech to his unwavering supporters and Akwa Ibomites in extension. He tagged his message as “A Message of Gratitude and Hope”

In his speech he said;

“Fellow compatriots,

“As we step into the promise of a new year, I extend warm felicitations and heartfelt wishes to each and every one of you. The year 2024 has dawned upon us, and I am filled with gratitude to witness this new beginning. Through every challenge, we have been upheld by unwavering and unyielding faithfulness of God.

May this New Year bring you the warmth of hope, the embrace of love, and the guiding light to steer you towards a positive destination. As we embrace this fresh start, remember that every end marks a new beginning. Let us keep our spirits and determination unshaken, for it is through courage, faith, and concerted effort that we shall achieve all that we aspire for. Happy New Year to you all.

I extend my profound gratitude to the remarkable individuals who have stood alongside us throughout this arduous journey. Your unflagging support and steadfast belief in our cause have been a wellspring of inspiration and warmth. Your dedication and resilience have been unwavering, and for that, I am truly thankful.

Just yesterday, we received the verdict from the Supreme Court, the highest court in our land, regarding the governorship election. While the outcome may not have aligned with our hopes, I want to assure each and every one of you that our faith in God remains resolute. You are the guiding stars who recognized the promise in our political journey and embarked upon this path of faith. Let us continue to march forward, fueled by the principles of justice, fairness, and progress. Together, let us embrace the opportunities that lie ahead and continue to hope on God for a better future.

I firmly believe that in every setback, lies an opportunity for greater things. Our journey was never solely about Senator Bassey Albert ; it was about the unwavering belief that we deserve the very best in governance and leadership. Despite the hurdles we encountered, including my sojourn in prison, we leave the outcome in the hands of God, knowing that He has a greater plan for us and for the great people of Akwa Ibom State. We hold fast to the belief that in God, every setback is a setup for God to manifest his powers.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno, and his government on their victory. I am confident and pray that he will work tirelessly towards the progress and development of our beloved state. As we move forward, I pledge my full support to His Excellency and his administration. As a true democrat, I firmly believe that the progress and development of our beloved state should transcend any personal ambition. I encourage all of us to keep Governor Pastor Umo Eno  in our thoughts and prayers as he takes on this significant responsibility.

I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to those who have been instrumental in my political journey and those who played a pivotal role in bringing me into politics. To my supporters, volunteers, and campaign team who dedicated their time, energy, and resources, I am forever indebted to you. Keep hope alive. Your unwavering belief in our shared vision has been the driving force behind our campaigns.

As we navigate the path ahead, let us hold fast the confession  of our faith without wavering for He who promised, is Faithful (Heb. 10:23)  believing  that our collective efforts will continue to shape the future of our state. Together, let us channel our energies towards fostering unity, peace, and progress for the betterment of Akwa Ibom State.

To the President and Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, I pledge my unwavering support, loyalty and commitment to the progress and development of our great country under the Renewed Hope Agenda. To the President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio , CON, who appointed me as a Commissioner and provided mentorship for my political journey, I express my eternal gratitude, support, and loyalty.

I reiterate my steadfast dedication to the good governance of Akwa Ibom State. I will persist in advocating for the advancement of our state and its esteemed citizens. I will continue to strive for the amplification of the people's voices and the fulfillment of their needs.

This campaign was founded on the belief that every Akwa Ibomite should be integral to the Akwa Ibom project and share in the prosperity of our state. This, I believe, should be encouraged and sustained.

Together, let us shift our focus from where we stand today to where we aspire to be tomorrow.

We will continue to work towards the Akwa Ibom of our dreams. Let us hold fast to this vision and trust in the fulfillment of God's promises.
